Before I left Canada in March 2011, I had a great respect for Rob Ford.
On my morning drives (2.5 hours a day), I used to tine in to 640AM or Newstalk 1010 where either Rob Ford was on the show or they used to praise Rob ford, being the only honest Municipal person in Toronto.

I really wished that he would be the Mayor of Toronto and clean up city hall and make Toronto a heaven for immigrants.

Of late, I am hearing all bad things about him, as to how he is not doing his job properly, safety risks, coming drunk to events, unsafe driving, using cellphone on the drive and the latest crack scandal.

Though I used to hate Toronto Star for always showing him in bad light, I feel that their latest editorial asking him to step down (fault or no fault) is fully justified.
He has made Toronto a laughing stock of the world (incl. my work place in India) and I have not seem him doing any constructive roles in the past 2 years.
Looks like David Miller was better.

When Rob ford was first elected, I thought he was Chris Farley come alive!

Like many, I was a Ford supporter. It seemed like the news media had a bone to pick with him. One controversy followed another.

The anger issues, anti-gay stance, drinking issues, anti-women, corruption, etc and now the crack issue. Only thing Ford has not been accused of is cross dressing.

I think it’s time for him to be booted out of the office.
