Only 3 people have died far in Calgary and none Desi. The Alberta CM / Primier has assured the utmost help to all victims.
However more than 500 Desi's have died in India due to Monsoon flooring in Uttarkand and water has entered New Delhi edge from the Yamuna. Many are strandered too. Indian army / govt. is very lethargic is pressing the full helicopter service to rescue all incl. the locals (another great points to immigrate to Canada)
The Indian news channels esp. CNN IBN which I watch regularly is full of this news.
Our prayers for the departed souls.
