Are there any Desi's in red deer -alberta?
How far is red deer from calgary ?
Can one commute from calgary to red deer...
please let me know some one who is residing in these areas as i m planing to relocate looking to all the factors like weather, schooling and public transport etc.

You live in Mississauga, (I am sure you know about Mapquest or Yahoo maps) why can't you get answer to your questions from Mapquest.
Before you post you question in the forum please try to spend some time in research ..... Please DO NOT treat Canadian Desi. com as 411.ca, mapquest.ca or yellow pages.ca.

Hi, Interceptor,
One of my friend’s family first landed in Brampton. Then they moved to Edmonton. According to them there are many desi families living for more than 20 years and they don’t even think of going back to India. Then they moved to Red deer. They say it is a nice place to live. Even though very few desis people. Other people are very friendly. Families live with their old father in law and mother in law. My friends settled nicely, they even bought a house for half the price for what we can buy in GTA. They are also happy about the school in which their children are studying. About the cold weather they did not find much difference. My be once you settle there please give us some input.

I have given final interview and they will be issuing me letter hopefully by next month as I will be heading their branch in Red deer but my only concern is salary negotiations as it is still going on as they have not arrived my expectations still now but hopefully they may agree as per my feelings.
Can u please let me know the details of your friend i mean i need his contact number and name so taht i can discuss with him about my future plans.
