Hello,

I am looking to bring my brother from India to Canada on permaent basis (PR or Work Permit)
I would appreciate if anyone can suggest me some advice to bring him here.

His Profile:
He is Computer Engineering graduate.
- Has around 3-4 years of IT Experience.
- Currently working in reputed IT company in India

I may be wrong but there are 2 ways as I see them ...

a. Get him on PR subject to hist specialization and current occupation in demand list .

b. He comes here on a work permit with some major India based Consultants and applies for a PR from with in Canada after the stipulated period .

There s a difference in PR Application eligibility from outside and from with in Canada ... Canada wishes to retain people who are already on work permit here.

First option does not seems to be feasible for Software Engineers, since Testers are not listed in occupation demand list.
Second option is good, and he can work in it.

Likewise if he can float his resume here , there's a rare possibility that some company from here may issue him a work permit as well .. and once he crosses the eligibility period he can apply for a PR.
