We are a small family of 3, with son (10 yrs old). I am working in one of the leading companies in a management position.. Apart from my Engineering degree/MBA from India, I acquired another MBA degree from Canada..Wife is working as an occasional teacher (difficult to get a permanent teacher position here)
Income is not bad.. never went into factory jobs.. always had white collar jobs..Was marketing head in a reputed company while in India..moved nearly 6 yrs back..
Just received offer from a reputed company in Ahmedabad for 15 lacs pa.. seems lucrative, so want to go back..
Can you pl. provide your thoughts??
Thanks
Stay here, try improve your "not bad" situation and never look back for an employment in India again.
Embrace Canada .... do not make your son's life miserable.
Gurram: I dont think so he want to make his son's life miserable. Actually my son is so excited when he go back home on vacation. But if he get a good offer, why not try his luck instead of discouraging him. He can come back to Canada anytime as long as he has a Canadian passport. And the good point is to be closer to the family, no snow, enjoy the sunny weather.

Hi, M Gupta;
Not long time back, your suggestions to others were to move Saska.. and look forward to brighter future in Canada. Even, I was planning to do that as job situation in widely known Ontario is not good.
I am surprised to see your advise now sending ppl back to India. No more jobs even in saska now? Your love for India (I admire that) has taken a step further.
Ben

A lot of people are moving to upscale jobs in india. These days it is a global village so you can move anywhere you get a suitable opportunity.
15 lacs in India is a big salary. So I would say if you have Canadian citizenship, then it is worth a try
