Thanks for the reply.for my question.
My son was at Canada for 2009 Aug. 2010 December and then after --to and fro,,-- from buffalo to our home toronto as he was student. in USA.upto 2011 sept. then after he is at at USA coming Canada for some days.
He is Canadian PR holder from 2009 Aug..
(2) My husband also came Aug 2009 stayed Canada upto Aug,2010 then after gone back to India and again Came on July 2011 and after that he is here at present.Like he was not in Canada for 11 months after one year stay here. and now from two years he is here.
In Both above different situation how can they apply for citizenship OR may be Renew the PR ? and When they can apply for that..
Please advice.

Here is some thing you can read and also watch. It is really jovial and you will enjoy the same.
1) Your son's stay might be counted as half towards CITIZENSHIP and he will also need another two years here within Canada as a PR, to qualify. Please read through the application process. For the renewal of PR, he will need a TWO Years stay within Canada. Please add the number of days spent with in Canada and update the same.
Please use this clause to his advantage. : The physical absence from Canada is caused by a clearly temporary situation such as employment or study abroad for a limited period of time.
2) Your husband's time here is sufficient. But you will have to do the actual calculations yourself, prior to filing the Citizenship Application.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) allows you to apply for Canadian Citizenship after you have been a physical resident of Canada for three years (1095 days) out of the four years immediately preceding your application. Where exceptional circumstances exist, however, you may be allowed to apply even if you have not been physically resident in Canada for the required 1095 days.
Both of them will have to show the proficiency in English (or French) language.
