I have applied for the Sponsored Spousal visa in Family class for my wife.
we are currently in USA on H1 visa.
We have submitted application July 2013.
The sponsor part of the application was accepted in a month or so there off by the office in Ottawa.

We are at the stage of sending FBI (Police Clearance) to the Immigration office.

we have done the finger printing today and I needed some help as to what needs to be done now ?

The website refers to sending the Finger Prints to a address with the required fees and some cover letter. (My question is about the contents of the Cover Letter )

Does any one know more about this process from here on, do Please let me know.

If you have a file number, you can ask FBI to send it directly to CIC,with a reference to that file number. If you are waiting for a file number, you might also get a request from CIC for the FBI clearance in it. In any case, you will have to wait now. Since you did not send it with the application, you will have to wait till they ask for it. That is the letter, the FBI are looking for. This process is between FBI and CIC. All they will say is'there are no records' available. (Normally)

It takes any where from SIX to EIGHT months, after the medical. You are not there yet.
