Good luck for your test. I hope you will not have problem in passing it.
Do you get the idea when you will be called for the oath cermony. My understanding is that it would 6-8 weeks after test.

hi asims; i had my test today i did work hard but turn out to be very easy . canadiandesi citizenship test helps me a lot learning info quickly.
Took me about 5 -7 minutes and i was one of the last one to make sure everything was okay. Anyway we been told it will take 6 -8 weeks to get the oath call. Although a buddy of mine went for test 3 weeks ago and he already received a letter for his oath in first week of march so looks like it isn't taking that long they just telling 6 - 8 weeks to make people patient and not to bug them.
Will wait and keep posted.

take care
Syed

Hi Jhon
I havn't got any letter yet for the oath altough its just a week since test. Hoping to have within this or next week.
Officer have seen my passport first, i did attached my expired and new passport together and thatswhy no problems but they were asking one person who forgot his previous expired passport to bring it in. I were only asked a question if i am working and then my company name and how long, but i don't know if it were different questions to other people. When i get there they had file with them and most probably the same information what we provided them through application so just stick to what you have mentioned in your application anything more might complicate the matter. So its good idea to take a look at a copy of application form if you have with you and just stick with it.

I belive its just a formality so don't worry and concern more on citizenship test prepration.

good luck
Syed

Good for you Mr. Syed,

I hope any time this month you will receive the Oath Ceremony letter. We had our Oath last week and next week my son has to go for his Citizenship test. Even though we applied as a whole family last year , but they took so much time in processing that my son turned 18 during the process and they asked us to fill another application (adult application) for him to re start his process all over again. I hope once he clears the test, he would also be called for Oath in a couple of months time.

Hey Jhon and everyone

Just to update here; i have received an Oath letter 15 days ago and i have my oath and got citizenship today.

There were about 120 people took almost 2:30 hrs at Mississauga Citizenship Court. Seems like Mississauga Office is pretty quick in processing.

Any way thanks to everyone again parcipating in this topic and good luck to those who have not called for there oath or test yet.

Syed
