Dear All, (especially seniors)..
I am in india and waitting for further shape to take in my process. Can we think of starting a section called "ANUBHAV", every one would share his/her time line from the begning. Anubhav in every step of the process til entering canada. As we have so many friends who have entered in canada now, they can share their views in this section. All though we have the same but in spreaded way, in broken links.
Rgds,
VJ
I think that's a super idea. I would extend it to experiences after landing as well along with the timelines, something along the lines of what Mishtar India has posted in his thread "My post-landing experience"
I agree that other's experiences are of utmost interest to prospective immigrants and although we do have them dispersed in different threads, it would be nice to find them all in one place. This section would exclusively dedicated to people's personal experiences while applying and then landing in Canada, nothing else.
What do you think, Garvo? Maybe if we create this section, we can start by moving some of the existing threads there.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Are you there?
Btw, VJ, I've moved your thread to the right section, it was originally in IMMIGRATION EXPERT section. That one is reserved for questions for Massood.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Are you there?
Completely agree. Great idea.
The most trying time for any perspctive immigrants is when they decide to migrate, put in the application and then WAIT. Wait wait and wait.
This is the time when the applicant is neither here nor there and passes thru most unccertain times.
If we, those who have been thru the process, post our experiences with application processing under a dedicated folder, it will be a great help to all those who are waiting for their turn.
VJ is right the info is shared and exists in these threads, but is not under one heading .
On another note : Hats off to GG, BL for making this forum what it is today.
There is no such site which provides the kind to help and support as this one does.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
What can be imagined, can be achieved.
Yes This is a super idea ,please make a timeline ticker

Dear Garvo Gujarati (Rashmibhai) and BL,
I am sure you must be working out something to start this section. "ANUBHAV", is one central word, due to which the great creation of Rashmibhai is growing day by day. Lets give an enhanced shape and feel to it and try to open a dedicated section , where we can further sub categorise (Let me start with few of my thoughts, I am sure with brainstorming we can finalise the list of sub-categories)..
TWO MAIN SECTIONS
1 PRE VISA
2 POST VISA
Further,
For PRE-VISA (for people like me)
1 Present status in inda
2 Reason for immigration
3 On LINE sharing of developments in india, which may affect the movement plan (like the one I had wriiten "I AM NOT COMING)..vala).
4 ANUBHAV in file preprations (Submission, PCC, IELTS, INTERVIEW, FUNDS etc..)
4 All other comparatives
For POST VISA
1 Checklist of items to bring)
2 Dos and don'ts
3 Landing (rather before that PCC issues what Rajand had at the Mumbai airport)
2 Settlement (house hold, budgetting etc)
3 ANUBHAV in job searchs (RESUMES, INTERVIEW TIPS, CERTIFICATIONS etcc)
4 ANUBHAV on various Localities and areas (GEOGRAPHY)..for movement in various citie (MAPS etcc)
5 ANUBHAV on holidaying etc (I think reachash had started on this)
Let me stop here, There are so many with us including the creators. I believe in general acceptance as after brainstorming and group discussions only the best product comes out. Please give your inputs.
Regards,
VJ.
