Dear Fellow CDesi's,

I am planing to move from the Maritime to Vancouver in coming January. I am looking for a suitable place to stay for a single person (male). I don't want to share an apartment so would be looking for a small apartment / basement apartment or something similar. My new place of work is the Vancouver Hospital so anything within a short commuting / walking distance would be preferable.

Any suggestions are welcome.... I am trolling Kijiji, Craigslist and Rent-BC for last few weeks, but hard to decide without a proper feedback.
