I was thinking of applying for immigration to Canada, before that I wanted to know what is the scope for HR professionals from India to get a job in Canada?

Are there any ways that I can get a job offer before applying for immigration and please let me know if there is any channels that I can use to get a job.

Hi Donny,
There are very few jobs for Immigrant HR professional unless you are into IT hiring. The local HR firms prefer native born Canadian who understand the job market well and who have fluency and the flair. It may take 2 or 3 years for you to understand the Canadian system.

It is a totally different ball game for IT.

Most HR professionals work on commission basis. There are a few HR professionals in CD forum who work from home and are into IT recruiting. They screen IT employees.

It is 100% impossible for you to land a job prior to you setting foot in India.

If you are a girl & good looking, you can make it in the HR field.

Lot of general labour employment temping agencies, need HR professionals to hire/recruit educated/qualified immigrants for various warehouse and factory jobs and security guard jobs.

Companies like Apple One, Kelly services,Randstad, Drake International come to my mind. But even those companies hire a good looking White girl who just has a community college HR diploma or certificate, nothing much to do their dirty work for them.
