Hi guys,
Need to know the experiences of people who have relocated to canada from USA after having applied from India cause they were not legal in USA for canadian immigration. I have applied in May 2004 and I guess I have to wait for at least two more years . Any comments / suggestions.

I am a Special Education teacher living South in Carolina from September 1, 2005. I hold a J1 visa which holds a 212E home country rule, which specifies that I need to return to my home country(India) after my 3 years visa.
I want to apply for canadian immigration. How are the job opportunities as a special education teacher. How do I apply for the immigration. I want to apply from America.

Dear maria,

Anyone having stayed legally for one year in USA can apply for canada immigration
from canadian consulate located in Bufallo- New York. It takes about 12-15 months
to get the visa.

Since last six months i m canada.. had applied from buffalo,ny . it took 4.5 years to clear the file and to cross the border. four families from our friend circle have relocated.. we r happy in canada.


It is better to live peacefully in canada then living under pressure of temporary visa in USA
