Hi,
I am wondering as Seniors (55+) who have completed their days.

  How long is it taking nowadays to get "Citizenship Interview / Oath Ceremony"?

Thanks,
Kas

Kasmodiya Ji,

I recently done my parents citizenship I applied in 01 June 2017 and they called for Document verification sometime in January 2018 and their oaths done on 27 February 2018. We live in Brampton - Peel Region and processing time depend on where you live.

Thanks for the reply...

Do they notify on email?
How much time do they give to verify the documents.

My parents will complete their days in last week of March and then they are planning to fly back to India (obviously after applying for citizenship) and I'm going to be working in USA as no one will be at home in Calgary. (I'll still have a physical address as I own house in Calgary) So question is... will I be able to manage this whole thing while being in USA and my parents in India?

I'm planning to fly them back over we receive notice to verify the documents and stay in Canada til oath, passport and OCI is done.

Anyone with experience please feel free to answer.

Really appreciate your answers.
Regards,
Kas
