Hi guys, i have few questions.

1) I will have my oath end of this month and i was wondering if i can apply for the passport the same day i give my oath. i can get paper work ready b4 i go give my oath. the reason im doing this cuz then i dont have to take off another day off to apply for the pasport..im taking off from wrk the day my oath is. has any1 tried applying it like that b4?

2) when i came to canada, i came from states. I over stayed a year in state for my study. now if i want to go back to US for visit wud that be a problem for me? i have talked to a consultant and he said sumthing about US waiver. do any1 know anything about US waiver and how it wrks?

3) I am planning to apply for OCI card after getting my citizenship. (a) i believe
OCI card has no limit how long u want to stay in india. You can stay in india as long as you want right? correct me if im wrong. (b) I have a house and a property on my name in india. would OCI affect me anyway owning anything in india?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You.

NO PROBLEMS ABSOLUTELY ....I applied it same day ...It is much easier now since you dont have to find a guarantor from a professionals list . Anyone who ownes a PP can be a guarantor ...

Stay there as long as you want ..

Any help will be appreciated.

If you Were you a full time student, in good standing and had a valid I-20 until the time u left USA there is no Propblem. Visa is only for entering the USA. if it expired but u still a student with valid I-20 until the time u were there and a fulltime student then no Pb.

I overstayed year and half with a valid I-20 ( Visa Expired). and i had no pb in getting a visitor visa from US consulate in toronto.
