Anyone recommend any decent badminton clubs in Mississauga ? Looking to play twice a week from September onwards.

the suggested clubs are pretty expensive and only season and not on weekends. Any suggestions on who can offer weekend playing + reasonable membership

there are badminton courts all around the city.. must be a few around your place too.

sometimes the courts are booked .... but other times they are not. You have to find out which times they are open to public and find a partner to play with.

the other thing that I do often is goto the community centre. They usually have a court there and for a min. fee you can book the court for an hour and schedule a pratice or a game.

Most Clubs... are indeed expensive and seasonal

thanks VIK , we have checked local YMCA and they don;t have badminton courts. We have the required players and my folks used to play doubles every week. Kind of excercise and for fun. But ever since we have moved from our rental apartment we are struggling to find a place.

Thanks for the replies. I did a Google search and Erindale appears to be the only decent club in Mississauga (and the only one with a website).

They play on Mondays and Wednesdays and the season fee is $120 dollars per person.

There is one in Brampton (near Shoppers' World) but that would be too far for me.

sphere, do u know which one at shopper world. i checke the erindale and it is during the week and the just season charges. we need year round and fairly reasonable.
