Planning to immigrate to Toronto in April'05.
I am currently working as a Buyer, thats what I started with two hald years ago. In my case the company paid for the course and i had to pay for text books since it was the same filed. so far have take two course and they are once a week in the evening ata college. It depends you can work any job and still do the course you like but only difference is your situation will determine whether you will pay for the course or would you be fortunate for the company to pay for you (if you are on a job)
the entire course if PMAC(purchasing management asscociation of canada) includes logistics, procurenment, transportation and if done faithfully takes around 5 years.
can i join any logistics company with my current profile immediately after landing?
Any openings at TRANSFREIGHT?? OR SIMILAR COMPANY'S LOOKING FOR MY PROFILE.

i too am landing next year . i am having 15 years experience in truck transportation field in india. can i too get a good opportunity there in any transport company or much more scope for own transport business.
it is not so easy to get job in transportation or any field for that matter. it all depends you upgrading your skill, demand in the market & upto certin extent good luck.
