Whenever I use 411 I am getting long list of Patels. One day I spent some time and calculated Number of Patel Families in the Phone Directory.
The results are amazing!!
In Canada there are total of 20312 Families!
In Ontario alone they are 14192.
Assuming that there are average 4 persons per family - In canada there are 80,000 Patels!
Wow!

Well, among Gujjus, it seems that only patels have established well abroad whether you go to US, England, France, Spain, Africa,....You'll find Patel Docs, Engrs, businessmen everywhere....I think they have good support of their community and get lot of financial and moral support. We can rank "shah" community next to patels......... Bottom line is Gujju community is no where close to "Singh" community abroad.
any particular reason??? Both seem to be hard working. But why singhs appear to be well-established abroad than gujjus??
