Do you mean extended health coverage, like prescription drugs, private hospital stays, etc?
Or did you mean emergency health coverage until OHIP kicks in?

When going for cover, also ask about deductible. I think most companies have $50 deductible, so if you spend $100, you will be reimbursed $100-$50=$50 for the first claim.
