NS3000,
Mississauga comes under the Peel Board. Look up their site for the names of the schools, maps, their EQAO scores and a wealth of information. It could be quite confusing but worth wading thru.

Mississauga, basically, has wonderful schools. Rather than ask which schools are good, it may be more appropriate to ask which schools are bad. Take a look and if you want specific names of schools write to me.
Best
There are many good schools in Mississauga. The same goes by Family (same neighbourhood) of schools, rather than individual school. In other words family of school comprises of all 3 level of schools-elementary, middle and secondary.
Some good family of schools in Mississauga are John Fraser, Rick Hansen and Lorne Park Family, to name a few.
Here is quick link to various family of schools in Mississauga:

You must also read the following article before enrolling your child.

As far as finding the best school is concerned, there are many ways to do this. You can visit the websites of local school boards, EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office), check out the school report cards published by the Fraser Institute and Ontario Parents Council. You can find the above links on my website's site map, under school information.
