Apart from being Christmas time, what else would be difficulties faced if one lands in Toronto during November/December?

Nothing - but that is major! Snow is going to be there upto April so it should not affect you anyways!

Before Christmas most of the manufacturing companies in comsumer goods are running at full speed and they need to hire many temporary workers so you can get labor job.
