Hi. My parents have a U.S. Green card. I am a Canadian P.R. My question is: Can my parents come to Canada and live with me? I believe U.S. Green Card holders can do that. Is that Right?
Also, one might suggest applying for my parents' P.R. in Canada. Well, there is a long, long waiting queue. I'd rather call them here on U.S. Status. What do the CD experts say? Is there a special procedure to do so?
Thanks,
Aseem
They can visit you but not live in Canada. They will not have an SIN and hence no identity besides if US comes to know that they have moved out of US and not maintaining a Primary residence in US, They may end up losing their GC status too ..
