Hi. I need some expert advice. My parents are living in the U.S. with my sister. They have a US Green card. Can I bring them to Canada to live with me? Can they live and work in Canada?
Please advise. How difficult is the process?

Further now they can also come on visitors visa for upto 6 months at a time, there has been some relaxation in policy about that.

Process is easy , just takes time and effort.

That's exactly what I meant, DesiTiger, when I posted this item. However, the bigger question is: Can a person having a US Green Card come to Canada, find a job, and start working here, without applying for a Canadaian PR card?

If so, what is the document that he needs, what are the restrictions on his stay in Canada, does he need to apply for a work-permit?, things like that.

I would request some CD experts to join this thread, please.
