Hi all

What are the requirements a canadian citizen living and working abroad has to comply with? I know that one has to file taxes and since the income is earned abroad, that may not attract taxes..but, is there a catch somewhere? I guess it would be a good idea to close things like credit cards, all bank accounts etc. Any other suggestions?

You need to be outside of canada to avoid paying taxes . No Primary residence , No DL . Any income in canada will be taxed at 25% but outside canada will not be taxed provided you live and work ouside and do not have much residential connection in Canada
