Hi All IT Gurus of Canada,

Could you please provide me the current average contracting rate in Toronto.
Consider 8-11 yrs of experience.

Also I would appreciate you can provide income tax rate and any other tax which need to be paid to government.

Cheers
Raj

IT industry rate is such a generic terminology. What is your specialization ? Are you a programmer, tester, PM, PL, DBA, e.t.c ? Without revealing all this info. how do you expect somebody to come up with a meaningful number.

Are you going to do a market survey or what ? You are not even sure what you are asking for!

Well, I am seeking some information (Very generic one) from the guys in Canada and wanted to compare with UK market.

If you can provide the info. then go ahead. Otherwise I am not able to understand why you are asking tons of questions.

I also know there are couple of salary survey sites/ job sites around etc...but I wanted to see live comments and view of experience guys in the field.

Cheers
Raj

I think the questions being asked are very relevant.

If you are in the IT industry, you should know that the rate say for an SAP BI professional is VERY different than that from an application tester.
