I need your inputs regarding student visa.

Is it true that if you have applied for Immigrant visa and it is in process, then your chances of getting a student are very less???

Are there any friends who have applied for Immigrant visa which is under process and who are there in Canada on Student visa who can share their experience.

Technically no problems.
Practically you have to convince them that you will return back if your student visa expires and PR is not approved. Ties with country etc. etc.
Make ducumentation water tight.
