I previously posted a message but have not received any reply yet. I wanted to know how long would it take for a student with a student visa living in the UK to come to Canada after getting married with a Canadian citizen? Would the sponsorship process take long?

Our immigration expert Massood is on vacation.

Spouse sponsorship from India usually takes about 3 months these days. I can't imagine the times for U.K. to be much higher, but don't know for sure.

I have heard it takes around 3-6 months, and it also depends on what passport you hold.
