I think its MUCH more of a melting pot, espeically Toronto. Just go to a Walmart here...:)

Walmart anywhere is more than just a melting pot, more of a Melting Circus..???;) :D

You got to watch out for yourself if you are there on weekends.

Sure, it is perhaps a bigger melting pot! But the pot is made of iron, is rusty, and old. So are the contents in this melting pot.

The "other" melting pot is of richer metal and the contents smell better too!

:D

Really? Is that a content of the pot speaking? Speak for yourself, DTC ;). IMHO, even though the Canadian pot is not as shiny (definately not rusty and old), the contents are actually much better.

Btw, have you ever lived in the states? I have and never felt that way.

Is Canada a MOSAIC or a MELTING POT?

I don't care if the pot next door is all shiny. I enjoy the food cooked with my pot rather than sniff and find out what's cooking next door! :)

Besides, here I can eat to my heart's content without having to worry about Uncle Sam watching me and controlling what I eat, where I eat and how many servings I am eligible to eat with my visa! :)

I don't find any difference to the portion size, though! Maybe I don't eat fast food out too often.

What you are talking about may be a promotional offer.
Their regular rates are much higher -
http://www.bellsouth.com/consumer/inetsrvcs/index.html

I used to have that promotional offer from Bellsouth for a period of 6 months, and then the rates went up to what's shown on their website.

That said, I pay a lot less for high speed DSL service with Bell Canada than I ever did with BellSouth.

Also, have you ever contacted their customer service to get some issue resolved?
If you have, then you know why I asked..... :)

Sure, but then Canada doesn't go raking up wars with oil producing nations just so it's citizens can drive their gas guzzling SUVs !

There are taxes on fast food as far as I remember.
If there aren't, then do you realise what that implies - it implies that the Govt. is actually subsidizing fast food out of your tax dollars !
If you live in the US, then part of your tax money is going to McDonald's - how does that make you feel?
