Guyz, I applied for citizenship on July 2003. This year in February I sent my fingerprints .After that I am still waiting for thje citizen examination date. Infact I am looking at the eClient status everyday on CIC website. Can anybody tell me how long should I wait more ?

It takes eight months to a year to process an application, from the submission of the application form to the citizenship ceremony."

The time for your process could be longer if there is some mistake in your case or some extra verification is required.
You still can wait for one more month to expect good news from them!

HI, AMERITANAND, my friend has the same situation like yours, expect that his application was submitted ealier than yours. he also submitted fingerprint in Feb, has heard nothing since. as i guess it may take 5 months for finger print to be processed by RCMP and it may take two more months for CIC to notify you for test, so it will take 7-8 months from your submission of fingerprint. in a another word, hopefully you may get test notice by sept-oct. let's keep in touch and share our timeline. goos luck, by the way, where do you live ? it also affect your time.
