one parent and kids travelling to USA

Can one parent (esp. DAD) with two kids aged 12 and 7 yrs travel to USA without thier mom accompanying them. Do the border checks/immigration ask for a consent letter (given by mom)at the border while going to US or when coming back.

Yes, you can and no consent letter is required.

I have crossed hundreds of times by land into US and Canada with my infant/toddler son (I am the dad). Also, I flew to India from Detroit with my son when he was under 2. In all cases without mom and without any consent letter.

it is irrelevant to know or assume what is the gender of a person giving replies in charcha!!!!!!!!!!!!!:down:

My Id is one of my cat's name who was born in 2001 :)
