Hi
recheck your facts and verify them.
Canada is definately not a ideal place but the best option after US to migrate. In Australia even labour job is a problem ; when i was preparing myself to move abroad i had evaluated Canada ; US ; Australia ; UK and found Canada suitable to my needs .
US - visa is very difficult and rejection almost certain.
Expensive education.
UK - Even labour job a problem and settling very very difficult as immigration is tough (almost impossible).
Australia - Expensive education ; immigration tougher then Canada ; Labour job a problem ; Job scenerio similar to what it is here.
Canada - Next to USA
low investment on education compared to other options.
Initial struggle but things get better in 2-3 years and struggle is worth it.
Higher Chances of getting into USA ; which will continue to dominate atleast for 8- 10 more years even if things dont improve there.
please note - luck is always a factor ; and these may not be true for other individuals ;this is my view as per my situation and u'r situation and carrer plans may suit to other countries.

2) Canada - Chance to get in to USA
let us not have this fallacy of every canadian being able to live and work in usa, unless canada became the "5x" state after iraq becoming 52nd.
under the trade nafta program, only few catagories fall in where a canadian can work in usa and again on 1 year renewable visa. that is not the key to the "green card", in fact that will not be even counted towards green card application.
u can go and live there illegally and wait for some " il presidento" to declare a general amnesty, which could be 5 to 10 years. but all this time u r living as an illegal "alien" and certainly not working as a professional but a "sweatshop" hero.
True, thats why I said a chance....

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
I have an Australian PR.I was in Sydney(Industrial Center of Australia) for a month last year. The situation there is very similar to Canada but you have plenty of labour jobs in Sydney. But there are no Jobs in IT unless you have very specialised IT skills like Internet Security etc and most importantly Australian Experience
Charted Accountants,Nurses,School Teachers have very good Job Prospects in Australia.
Imet a Guy from Bombay in Sydney he was a Accountant from India and working in russia he got job with in 10 days of his landing.
You can see lot of Indians/Chinese/Pakistanis working in Bus Stations as ticket checkers/or in Security .MAny of them I met had Masters from their native country and also had an Australian degree. But despite all those hard knocks ,They still dont go back to their native countries for better jobs.

"The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be"
I think Indian CAs are recoganised in Australia.Weather wise Australia is very good. You have to be in the heart of Australia ,that is, Sydney (Heart of Australian Business) and Melbourne to cash in the oppurtunities.Population of Indians in Sydney is 30,000.Very less Pakistanis/Bangladesis/Sri Lankans here.Lot of chinese and Indonesians.
Perth is not far away from Singapore.I think New Delhi to perth is around 7 hrs and Sydney : 11 hrs.
Compared to Canadian Immigration System,Australian Immigration is very strict and their passmark is dynamic and it is closely monitored by The government.Refugees are not allowed in Australia and are deported.Since Australia is isolated by Sea ,it is safe from terrorist attacks
