It may seem an archaic question, but has anybody tried bringing vinyl records (both EP & LP) from India? If yes, how did you bring it?

I have a collection that I would like to bring. I think, that if I put in my luggage, it will get damaged.

Another option is taking a hard disk, soundcard and software with me, and ripping the music, which is a time consuming process

How many do you have?

I think if you put all of them in a well padded box and put that box in a large suitcase, ti should be fine.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.

I like this commandment:

The twelfth commandment as per Meghal's testament - Thou shalt not create, listen to, buy or encourage remixes in any form..................

What is the 11th commandment?

Yeah. But I will have other stuff, that i buy from India. And records can be quite heavy. And I believe airlines are now decreasing the limit from 32 kg to 23 kg per person.

Eleventh commandment is given by Robert Ludlum in his novel by same name. It is "Thou shall not get caught"

Please do not underestimate the antique value of all those records. You may earn a fortune selling them in Canada/US !
