Hi,
I am moving out and I heard from old tenants of my building that our super.does not return our mails after we moved out somewhere. I will change my new address as soon as I can and will also pay to postal service to send my mails to new address for 3 months automatically. But after that if any mails come to old apartment, how can i get that? I mean is there any legal action I can take to get my mails from old super.?
The best way is to have the service extended to 6 months wz the Postal dept and try to advise the new address to all whom you deal with. I recently moved and did the same after looking at various options.

What is it?
Canada Post provides a Mail Redirection Service. A "permanent" move occurs when an individual or a family moves from one residence to another residence or when a business / organization moves from one place of business (location) to another - with no intention of returning to the previous address.
Service Features
The permanent service is available for a six-month period for both customers and businesses. The service can be extended, providing the extension is requested before the expiry date of the service. There are no limitations on the additional periods of extensions applied for, although the extension price will be the current price at the time the application is filed. When a Change of address is submitted on-line an extension can also be submitted on-line.
