I am self employed IT professional and work as independent contractor for an IT firm, i would like get consutancy on managing my accounts from some senior Accounting professional specialising in filing IT returns for self employed professionals.

Hi,

Being in Canada, is it possible to work as an Independent contractor for a company in US and paid in US$ directly by the company?

If possible, should the taxes be paid only in Canada or in both the countries?
