Fund declaration at Customs

Dear Mr. Masood,

One have a question about funds declared on landing. I had declared USD 25000 when I landed in Jun 2003, which I took back with me to my country of residence (but not declared while returning). I am not sure whether the law of declaring funds in excess of CAN$10000 was applicable at that time.

Now, can I take back the same money or even more money, and declare the same with Customs. Any implications.
