While this is indeed a good technology.. I would like to suggest that .. us .. all of us try to communicate in English.. Languages while reminding us of our culture also tend sub-divide great Indian diaspora into various sub-ghettos.. English.. I believe over the period makes us all the same.. more assimilated..
Also judging by a lot of replies on this board.. quite a few ppl have real issues when it comes to communicating in English.. I remember Akiro Kurosava was once asked why he makes movies in Japanese.. he answered becoz \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"I think in Japanese\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" .. I think that\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s very telling.. linguistic experts have hailed \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"total immersion\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" as fastest way for immigrant to succeed in new world..
Nothing wrong in these initiatives.. laudable and indeed very useful.. just want to sing for Canada! After all didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t we all come here to become \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Canadian\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\".. ? Why keep clinging to old world.. when the new world, new possibilities, new culture beckons with open arms .. ?
Yes.. PMs, Homes, and community and private initiatives for each community are welcome.. but at the same time lets try to keep taking advantage of English as our lingua franca..
English is fast superceding, Bollywood, Cricket, corruption as most popular commanality across great diverse land of India!!
