Hi folks,

I will be landing in Toronto in March .My husband is the principal applicant what if my husband doesnot accompany me in first time landing as he is on a project in the US and what if I stay in canada till i become a citizen and my husband doesnot come to canada as his green card is`also in process and because of his employer.What will be the scenaro in that case

you can't land without principal applicant.. but once you land he could go back and you could go for citizenship once you complete the requirements.

you have to come with your husband. he can just do the landing and go back the very next day. but it seems he is in process of the green card and cannot leave US or he wont be allowed back in? you have to make your choice between Canada and US . we had the same problem we chose Canada. I have a cousin who let go of his PR coz of the same reoson that was 5 yrs ago and he is still waiting for his green card.
