Hello,
I am in trouble my friends, I now have 2 At-Faults Claims on my driving record.
My current insurance policy will be cancelled next year because the company does not give policy to 2 or more at-fault claim people. Also the premiums are going to sky rocket.
Is there anyone who knows any company which provides a cheaper option for people in this situation through a friend or past reference.
FYI : The Insurance Company themselves said that GTA is the worst place in North America when it comes to Car Insurance but that is not my topic of discussion.
This is a know fact how Insurance companies are ripping off people here in the GTA.
Any answer or lead is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Toronto User.
Pls. help.
Your best option will be to go to a insurance broker. Search in yellopages.ca for a broker in your areas

Yes It is a a rip-off. Check this.
Total Amount paid in 2 claims = $6200.
My new insurance rate from August 2012 $440 instead of $150
Diff = $290
I have to pay this for the next 5.5 Years till both of them are written off.
I pay $290*5.5*12 = $19140
They will charge me $19,140 for $6,000.
People do not realize that but one should be scared to drive in the GTA.
Anyone can meet with an accident but the way you will be treated after that is scary.
It is not called a rip-off rather a mafia gang running the show and the government has washed off their hands.
Since nothing can be done now, I have to go though Brokers to find the best rate.
Do Insurance Broker change a commission?
Thanks.
That is fair if they can help in saving some money.
Any good Car Insurance Brokers?
Thanks.
The way insurance works is the higher rate is compensate for higher risk that u carry of another at fault accident in future.. the higher rate is not to make up for past claims.
Remember insurance company can be liable for the limits of ur policy(usually as much as 1 million $).
Insurance rates in GTA are high but partially we drivers are responsible for it..
My insurance went up 50$ pm with out a single ticket or at fault accident in past 3 years.
Looking at the accidents and deaths that have been going on around my neighborhood in the past 2 weeks i am expecting another 30$ pm increase on renewal..
Try the website http://www.kanetix.ca/, they are online brokers that have tieups with insurance companies
