Went there just before Diwali - and I must say that is is one of the TOP Indian Restaurant in GTA.

Quite a big place.

Large choices of Vegetarian Items.

Smiling Owner - Amar.

Good quantities.

And a great quality food.


However the service was not that good. May be it is always crowded. Intrestingly we went there during a weekday evening and there were few other tables occupied. This is something unsual!

We asked them to make Indian HOT dishes and they really made it. The vegetable biriani was so hot, we hardly could eat couple of spoons!

Anybody else tested it?

I Think he is over priced, even before he started..in this current location, he had industrial unit in which he did take out order..once my cousin took me there (at the back he had some chairs and tables) where he would serve us the food, and alcohal ( he did not a Licence but he did serve it in plastic cups...)

Now the food was good and all but when I got the bill I was kinda pissed cause he charges us what an upscale restaurant would charge us, and remember the restuarant charges cause of the atmosphere they provide is also being paid for....Now sitting on benches and drinking beer from a plastic cup does not make me want to pay 5 bucks a beer and 10 bucks a dish....


Just recently last month I went to his restaurant and ordered some sizzlers which where good 2 years ago, now the taste like crap,...

I ordered (me and my brother) 2 rounds of Scotch, with Soda...when we got the bill these clowns wanted to charge us for the SODA the put in our Scotch....!!! and 4 bucks a shot so the Scotch comes to 9.00 bucks a single shot!!

I went up to this clown and said "You forgot to charge me for the ICE in my drink"!!!

I think Chauhan's in his last days the food is shit (he does not cook any of it any more thats why I think its not all that, I think he's not supervicing properly even if he does not cook)....

I would never go there again in my life.....
