What are some of the best deals you have found for food in the GTA? Both vegetarian and non?
The focus obviously is not on quality and we're not talking about health food by any stretch of the imagination. Basically it should be a meal that fills you up and does not make you sick, preferably under $5, taxes included (you can go a little higher if this is too less, but nothing over $7).
I (and a lot of my non-Indian friends) find the 3 for $1 samosa deal at Indian grocery stores a blockbuster bargain. (I know a guy who will sometimes eat a $2 lunch )
Please list
1) Restaurant name
2) Location
3) Type of food and quantity
4) Cost (include taxes)
5) Eat-in or takeout
6) Your rating from 1 to 10.
This could be useful to newbies and interesting info for the frugally adventurous established immigrants.
