Hi,
We are planning to move to Toronto next year with our 6 year old son. I have 2 queries, if anyone of you can help, it will be great:
1) Is it a norm to send kids to private schools or is public school education in Toronto good
2) Which are the recommended neighbourhoods to stay in Toronto based on the public school system.
I will appreciate your responses.

Depends how much u want to spend. Good is highly subjective word. Depends where u are comming from and what type of school your kids has been to. Recpmmended areas to stay for kids tell me that u ar looking for a public school.
Can you be more specific on what do u want to know so that we can help u better?

You are right. So i will be more specific - based on the public school rating system, could you advise me on which neighbourhoods in Central Toronto should we choose so that our child can attend the school in that vicinity.

Public school system is good in Toronto. School rating may differ, so you will have to check with perticular school. Also read the EQAO ratings of school from the Toronto District School board site.
