I dont know how the prices a compare , but the best shopping experience we have for seafood is at St Lawrence market. Huge variety and great quality, always...and to add to that the experieince there on Saturday mornings is awesome.
The farmers market across the street, and coffee and breakfast places stay busy from wee hours. There are very few places like it. A Toronto only expereince.
With that thought, I am off for my walk to the market right now ....

Where is St Lawrence Market located? What kind of fish do u get there?
It is at the intersection of Front and Jarvis street in downtown.
- Take the jarvis exit on Gardiner and go one block north. It is on the South west corner of Front and Jarvis interction. It is closed on Sundays.
They sell almost all seafood from Salmon to king crabs and lobster...except indian fishes. For that try any indian supermarkets.
