Five people charged with $8,000,000 real-estate fraud in Mississauga

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Fraud Bureau have arrested five individuals for fraud related offences valued at more than $8,000,000.00.

The suspects had been operating a business out of the Peel Region named Netbusmodel, which in turn was an umbrella company for other companies such as Alcorp Financial Services Limited, Commonwealth Capital Corporation, International Currency Exchange Services and several numbered Ontario incorporated companies.

On Tuesday June 1, 2010, police arrested and charged the following people with several fraud related charges.

Bryan HUNKING – a 59 year-old male from Elmira, was charged with three counts of Defraud the Public.
Judith HUNKING – a 57 year-old female from Elmira, was charged with three counts of Defraud the Public.
Inderpal BAJAJ – a 55 year-old male from Brampton was charged with two counts of Defraud the Public.
Rajesh CHOWDHRY – a 48 year-old male from Brampton was charged with three counts of Defraud the Public and one count of Fraud Over Five Thousand Dollars.
Ajindrapal SINGH – a 54 year-old male from Brampton was charged with three counts of Defraud the Public.
