People who have commited suicide do not sit and think to themselves beforehand, "Hey, I know, I'll kill myself and be really famous for it" Not even Marilyn Monroe did this. These people are in pain and the act of trying to commit suicide is a deperate cry for help...unfortunately too many people succeed in the attempts to kill themselves.

I am trying to say, that Aishwarya is trying to spread rumours about herself and tries to compare herself to Diana (I have no respect for either of them).
She knows how to be in media even after giving only one hit movie in her entire career. There were all rumours about her being cast as a next Bond girl. What happened? Eventually everybody found out that it was a rumour spread by her publicist.
And about her so called "international assignments", the only "international" movies she has done are with Gurinder Chadha. Except for her apperance on David Letterman show, I don't think Hollywood is even looking at her.
It is nauseating to see Indian media continuosly obsessed with just one character. She is beautiful, but thats it. She has no talent whatsoever. So she has to continously remain in publicity to cover up for her lack of "talent".
And there are lots of other female artists in Bollywood that deserves more respect and recognition than her.

I don't know about Ash, but she isn't the one comparing herself to anyone. Like I said before, it's you who made the comparison. And in my own view, you cannot compare two totally different individuals who lead totally different lifestyles. Just something for you to think about before you start comparing apples to oranges again.

Still you are off track. You make a statement which is totally out of line and then you try to explain the rationale behind it.
You say " she spreads rumours about herself and tries to compare herself with Diana"- Can you justify where that statement is from.
Secondly, I think she was extremely talented in the Tamil film "Jeans" by Shankar. Just one movie in which she shows her talent (e.g. Jeans)will prove that the other's movies which did not do well either had a bad director or the script was bad. Does not mean that she is not talented. And who are the other female actress in bollywood who are actually better in acting than her.
