hi guys ,

I have recd my medical forms from CIC london . They have asked for the ROLF and my Omani police clearence .
What confuses me is :-
1. Why didn't they ask for the Indain Clearence? (which i had not
submitted at the time of the application).
2. Does this mean that there will be no interview?
3. Once clearing my medical will i get my visa?

yes...they hv waived your interview. It must be in your letter. Again read it carefully this time. Best of Luck

They have not written any such thing in the lttr . I happen to read each word carefully . that is why i was confused .

jen dont get confused usually if the interview is waived it says on the letter but if there isnt one in your letter maybe they will evaluate your medicals and police clearance and then decide if your interview is waived or no regarding your oman police certificate you have to provide police certificates from all the countries you have lived more than 6 months since the age of 18....but still just provide them what they are asking for they know their job better than us..but still if you have any queries you can always email them or mail them they always reply thats my personal experience.....best of luck

SOMETIMES IT IS NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE TO PROCURE A PCC FROM ALL THE COUNTRIES THAT YOU VISIT / WORK, AND THE COUNTRIES ARE NOT LEGALLY OBLIGED TO GIVE YOU ONE.

ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE EAST THIS IS PROBLEM. THE SOLUTION FOR THIS IS PRETTY SIMPLE AND EASY.
1. PLEASE APPROACH YOUR LAWYER AND REQUEST HIM TO PREPARE A "AFFIDAVIT" ON A 100 /500 RUPEES GOVT OF INDIA ISSUED STAMP PAPER.
2. IN THE MIDDLE EAST, RESIDENCE VISAS / WORK PERMITS ARE NOT ISSUED UNLESS THE LOCAL POLICE COMPLETE THOUROUGH CRIMINAL / SECUIRITY BACKGROUND CHECK ON BEHALF OF THE SPONSOR WHO IS OFFERING YOU THE POSITION.
3. ISSUANCE OF THE VISA ITSELF IS EVIDENCE THAT THE COPS HAVE CHECKED YOU OUT.
4. kINDLY STATE IN THE AFFIDAVIT THAT THESE COUNTRIES ( LIST THEM) THAT YOU HAVE WORKED IN DO NOT HAVE THE POLICY OF ISSUING INDIVIDUAL PCC TO PERSONS.
5. RESIDENCE / WORK PERMITS ARE ISSUED ONLY WHEN SECURITY IS CLEARED
ATTACH ALL NOTARIZED COIPES OF VISAS AND PASSPORT AND TAKE OATH IN FRONT OF FIRST JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE. THIS IS SUFFICIENT FOR CIC
I DID THE SAME AND IT WAS A BREEZE.........
