I am an april 2000 applicant and I recd the visa today. Its quite a relief.
My simple advice to every one on the Q
-Your paper work must be complete. Following every instructions given for completing the forms.
-Do not bother the HC with letters,faxes, phone calls and e-mails, it is of NO use. It only confuses them. They know their job well and work only as per their own requirements, rules and wishes.
-follow all the instructions given in their letters to you and what is posted at their web site and from time to time
-Be patient. Your turn will come !

Can you please tell the last part of your file no.That is in brackets like(IK1) ?
TD, you took almost 4 years to receive your visa and 3 years 9 months to receive your medical ..had you written to them after you finished 42 months ( the processing times indicate 42 months with interview ) or you just waited till they got back to you?
We have just finished 42 months after application and not recd waiver/interview. One more thing, after you submitted the new IRPA forms , how much time did they take to send you the medical?
we have sent new IRPA and IELTS ( score 7 ) on 27th Jan 2004 so just thinking what to do
