Also :
This is person is very well educated
( s/he has access to Internet, the person who believes the farmer was right ) .
At tis pt poll is one believes farmer was right
and 5 believe farmer was wrong .......... :(

I could not find link to actual source of news.

If you take little pain, you would find TRUTH about Gujarat riots. I do not contest riots. It is your dim brain and obsession that perceives that.

Do not digress from discussion.

If you want to discuss Gujarat riots, start a new thread. I hope in all fairness you would at the same time discuss anti Sikh riots and genocide in Kashmir.

By the way, you can also look up statistics and find how Hindu population in Pakistan and Bangladesh has been wiped out in a few years. However, this kind of analysis requires IQ above 80 and may be beyond you.

Nightmare,

Thanks for you suggestions.

The News appeared on the Christmas day in the Home Page of CD.

It is not about India or Pakistan or Afgans or Iran. The issue here is:

Are we, ALL of us, capable of holding a title of Humanatarians or do just belong to Beastly Kingdom? Do we really belong to the same species that Mathama Gahandi and Mother Theresa did?

We seem to accept occurances like this one as a news item. Should it effect our hearts or do we just accept this as a norm. Tomorrow our Grandchildren will have to inherit the standards we setup for them. IQ or Not what standards are we willing to set as normal?

If this incident was normal than please stop this world and let me get off!

Accordingt o your vote the farmer was right in his actions, which is different from not finding the link. Seems like you're the one with the comprehension problems.

Your reply seemed to indicate strongly that you do think it is ok to mutilate young children in such circumstances, which in turn indicates that you are a bigot, and a dangerous one at that.

Your reply about the 'truth' in Gujarat only furthers that impression. Do enlighten us (in a separate thread if you wish) with this 'truth'.

There you go vitriolic! What did I say? You are full of pre conceived notions. I DID NOT vote justifying farmer’s action. You can check with moderator.

I do not suffer from Stockholm syndrome.

I do not have any intention or time to start a new thread. Just for sharing some TRUTH.

Despite all the media and the consequent political, propaganda about the ‘genocide’ of Gujarat’s Muslims, the reality is that some of that community were also engaged in murder, rioting and unlawful assembly with arms in hand.
Issue of April 28, 2002, The Times of India reporter, Sanjay Pandey, reported that of the 726 people who had been killed by then in the post-Godhra riots, 168 were Hindus.
In its issue of June 24, 2002, India Today carried an article saying that the official figure of all people killed in Gujarat in the three months following the S-6 massacre was 800, of which a quarter were Hindus.
The Union Home Ministry’s Annual Report 2002-03 said that about a third of the total dead in the Godhra riots were Hindus. It also said that, at one stage, 40,000 Hindus were in riot relief camps.

Alexm, Nightmare....

Please Brothers....Let us not get this out of hand, please.

Mathama Gahandi gave his life so that we don't go at each others throat. Each time a Hindu is murdered by a Muslim and each time a Muslim is murdered by a Hindu, we really are sowing seed for problems in the future.
We are all educated enough, grownup enough and civilized enough to be part of the solution.

Prime example of being able to live in Harmony are Desis from East Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania) All of the Desi community joined each other for all the celebrations and for solving all the community's problems. Togather they built schools, hospitals and other community institutions. Each had their own sports teams (Cricket and field Hockey inparticular) and played eachother with fighting. They had no fighting in almost 100 years of history. They were represented in the Legisture and on City Councils by eachother reps.

During Idi Amins deportation everybody gathered at Gurudwharas before boarding planes to levae the country. Gurudwahara accomodation lasted for almost 60 days! Nobody until now has said thank you to the Sikh community, beacuse it came naturally to help eachother.

The point I am trying to make is that we are here in Canada and Are going to make this World and especially our DES a better place before it is our time to leave this earth or are we going to continue to be part of the problems.

Without sounding like a Punditji, I humbly request both of you to refrain from
going to each others throat. Try getting your children togather and see how they play without checking out eachothers faith or checking News Articles before enjoying the company.

I apologise to both of you for all the killings that have happend in the Subcont. by both our people and the British before that. Now lets forgive and forget. The dead are not coming back, however the alive ones can stop the madness.

Somehow, when I read the article originally, I just knew this will eventually end up being a hindu muslim thread (although I was hoping I was wrong).

Like Chandresh, I question the logic behind posting this ghastly stuff on CD, and that too with a poll. Its not against the rules or anything and wasn't deleted, but I don't seem to understand the benefit of the post or the ensuing discussion.

Having said that, I don't think the OP's intention was to turn this into a hindu vs. muslim thread (as is clearly evident in his last response).

I request everyone to either stay on topic or not contribute to this thread.
