My children had "braces" and now are on "retainers", which require a visit to the dentist every 6 or 8 weeks for adjustment.

I wonder if any CD would an orthodontist in Mississagua area (or striking distance) and give me the dentists contact details, so I can figure out the kind of records I need to bring to Canada.

If treatment is completed with fixed appliance then retainers are placed to maintain the teeth in new position from 6 months to 2 years depending on Individual situation .
Why would activation be required in retainers???
Please do check with your present orthodontist as consulting orthodontist here will be very expensive .
when ever you move it is advisable to carry records of treatment, X-rays and any Plaster of paris models (of jaws) before and after treatment .
