There are tons of orthodontist around here. Where are you planning on settling. Lookout for one around where you plan to stay.

FYI - Its also quite expensive here. Most companies you work for have partial coverage, but you still shell out a lot of moolah from your pocket.

Are you there?

Absolutely. I know of a few people who have gone to India to get it done, only 'cuase it's cheap there. But then everytime they have to get it tightened here, the Dr gives them a hard time, guess just 'cause he lost the business

Hi,

It is expensive here. For my daughter, the total cost is around $5500.

I paid 880 first time and paying $200 every month for two years. The dental insurance covers a maximum of $1500.

Orthodontic treatment can last around 6 months to 2 years .
In India it can cost anything from 30000 to 100000 as they also charge per visit and then the charges depends on the practice if it is high end it is more expensive..
So orthodontic treatment is expensive everywhere but here if you have some medical dental plan coverage of plan then it could be cheaper.
Where i work i will have to pay only 50% if i have to and if i have no other claims then it can be subsidised further so a lot depends on your medical /dental Insurance plan you have with your employer.
