while I agree to other things in your post, I simply do not agree with your statement about desis getting a bad rap. Every society does that - chinese, Koreans, white canadians, etc. Many of my white canadian colleagues buy these pirated dvds from Pacific mall in markham which is full of such shops - openly - and operated by the chinese!
