Hi! My brother applied under independent category in 2000 but till today, his case is under process. He has provided information of all the changes in his life i.e.marriage,birth of his son etc.yet the embassy never finalised his case.He also submitted IELTS results with 7.5 band. Please advice what to do?
Unfortunately, there are a number of applicants [and their lawyers] who are very frustrated these days because not only the processing has been delayed, there is absolutely no response from the embassy in certain cases.
You should keep writing to the embassy for a better reply [instead of 'your file is in process']
Good luck!

Mr.Masood,
Really you have put your hand on my painful vein. You have stated " There is absolutely no response from the embassy in certain cases" needs correction as
"There is absolutely no response from the embassy in all cases after implementation of IRPA regulation".
Mrs.Praveen
Our case is similar...
applied in Oct 2000, submitted IELTS in Feb 2003
After repeated faxes, we have recd a computer generated letter on 17th Dec 2003 asking us to submit new IRPA forms and commitment (?!!!) that they will respond within 3 months of getting the required data.
Lets us see what happens
Good Luck...
I am surprised that 2001 applicants are already in Canada and 2000 cases are still struggling to hear from CHC Delhi
